A loyalty-driven platform built to empower hospitals — strengthening patient loyalty and acquisition, and recovering the revenue that leaks between departments, all from one integrated platform.
Most hospitals hold on to 8 to 11% — nine in ten walk in once and never come back. Hospitals using Better have reached as high as 70% within three months.
Most hospitals sit near zero: every appointment runs through someone on a phone. Better takes roughly four hours of booking work off your front desk a day.
A follow-up nobody called about. A test recommended and never ordered. That's the share of revenue lost in the gaps between departments. Better recovers 12 to 13% of it.

Healthcare that works the way patients and hospitals need it to.
Most hospitals keep 8 to 10% of their patients long-term. Not because the care was wrong — because nothing brought them back.

A QR code at the front desk, and the patient is on your hospital's app before they leave the counter. No form, no card.
Nothing changes at billing. The patient pays the way they always have, and the visit lands in their account automatically.
A share of what they spent comes back as points on your app — funded by margin you already had, not a new discount.
Points only redeem inside your hospital — your pharmacy, your lab, your consult. The next visit has a reason to be here.
That visit earns too. The loop closes, and the patient who used to disappear after one visit now has a standing reason to return.
It would, if it paid for visits that were happening anyway. The wallet is funded by visits that would otherwise be lost entirely:
A small share returned to the patient brings the rest of that revenue home.
OPD, pharmacy, lab, IPD and back around. The patient never has a reason to stop.

They found you, decided on you, and picked up the phone. Nobody answered, so they called the next hospital on the list and booked there instead. You paid for every step of that except the last one.
Aarogya Hastha Hospitals, Karnataka
An AI receptionist greets every visitor, answers their questions, and books them straight into a doctor’s next available slot — no queue, no callback, no “someone will get back to you”. A lead at 10 p.m. gets an appointment at 10 p.m.
Bookings route directly into the doctor’s calendar your front desk already works from. Nobody re-keys anything, and nothing waits in a lead sheet for someone to work through tomorrow morning.
“We have streamlined our digital acquisition via Better. Now, close to 20% of the monthly cases we see are coming from these sources.”
OPD, diagnostics, procedures and pharmacy — all bookable under your hospital’s name. Patients who have your app open don’t search for an alternative.

Better is designed to integrate without disruption, and to handle patient data the way a hospital already expects it to be handled.
Hospital data is more sensitive than most consumer data, and the systems around it can’t afford downtime. Good security here isn’t a checkbox — it’s a small set of properties that actually hold up under real conditions.
Not just at the database — in transit between every service, every backup, every export.
A front desk system that goes down at 9am is worse than one that’s slightly slower but always on.
The front desk shouldn’t be able to see billing data it never needs to touch.
Every read and write is logged, so an audit is a query, not an investigation.
Measured on core booking, records and payment services. Scheduled maintenance windows are excluded and always communicated in advance.
Every service, backup and export is encrypted in transit and at rest — no exceptions.
Every team sees only what they need to — scoped by role, department and hospital.
Card data for in-app payments never touches our servers directly; handled by PCI DSS-certified processors.
Better connects to your existing hospital information system through a lightweight integration layer. No rip-and-replace, no re-training staff on a new system of record — your HIS stays the source of truth.
All patient and hospital data is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Access is scoped per hospital, so no data ever crosses between your organization and another.
Our infrastructure and data handling practices are designed around the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and established healthcare data-privacy norms in India.
Front desk, department heads and administrators each see only what they need to. Every action is logged, so you always know who touched what, and when.
If you ever leave, your data leaves with you — as a clean export, not a negotiation. We don’t hold hospital data hostage to a contract.

Acquisition without loyalty just fills the top of a bucket with a hole in it. Loyalty without recovery brings patients back to a hospital that still drops their follow-ups. Fix them separately and you pay three times to fix them badly.
“Better runs all three as one system, from the 2am inquiry to the follow-up visit.”
Patients don’t leave you. They just stop showing up. Better gives them a reason to come back.

A closer look at how hospitals on Better turned patient loyalty, acquisition and revenue recovery into measurable outcomes.

From aggregator dependency to owned digital growth.
Aarogya Hastha Hospitals, Bengaluru
As a trusted multi-speciality hospital in Kasavanahalli, Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru, Aarogya Hastha Hospitals has relied on Better since 2023 to power its digital patient engagement infrastructure.
Before Better, online bookings at Aarogya Hastha primarily came via Practo. Patient discovery and appointment scheduling happened outside the hospital's control, and follow-ups were handled manually by staff.
“We started working with Suraj and Lokesh from Better about a year ago, and it's been a pleasure. They've brought our ideas to life with great attention to detail.”
The first step was not to replace Practo overnight, but to create an owned entry point alongside it: an AI chatbot on the website that let patients ask questions in natural language, get instant answers to common queries, and book appointments directly through a simple scheduling system.
The chatbot functioned as a 24×7 digital front desk, working outside OPD hours and without adding operational load. For the first time, the hospital could convert website visitors into booked appointments without routing them through Practo.
Six months after launching the chatbot, Better rolled out a white-labelled Aarogya Hastha mobile app — letting patients book appointments, order medicines, book lab tests, and interact with the hospital through a branded, trusted interface.
Patients who had already visited once now had a direct channel back to the hospital, without intermediaries. Over time, repeat bookings began moving away from Practo and toward the app. While Practo had helped with discovery, the app allowed Aarogya Hastha to own repeat behavior.
Three months later, Better introduced the hospital’s own loyalty system — letting patients earn rewards on OPD payments, pharmacy orders, and diagnostic services.
The rewards were designed to stay within Aarogya Hastha, reinforcing patient loyalty while strengthening the hospital’s own ecosystem instead of pushing value to external platforms. The system no longer just supported bookings — it actively encouraged patients to return.
Instead of discounts, the rewards created a retention loop tied to real healthcare usage.
Together, the three phases transformed how Aarogya Hastha acquired and retained patients — moving from a hospital dependent on an aggregator’s demand to one that owns its own digital growth.
“Hospitals don’t lose revenue because they lack demand. They lose it because they don’t own the systems that turn demand into long-term relationships.”

Booking an appointment shouldn’t take five phone calls. Following up on a prescription shouldn’t depend on someone’s memory. And getting care shouldn’t cost a patient more than it needs to. That’s the gap Better exists to close.

“Suraj had spent years building operations from the inside — a 1,000-person facility management company, a school dental health program, a nurse-to-hospital platform.”
That firsthand view of where hospitals lose patients, revenue and time is what Better was built to fix.
One app for your hospital — appointments, reports, reminders and follow-ups, all in one place. No queues, no confusion, no chasing the front desk for things that should just work.
Every visit, every payment, every prescription earns you something back. Healthcare that rewards you for showing up, instead of quietly costing you more each time you do.
The best treatment is the one you actually follow through on. Better nudges you at the right moments — the follow-up you’d have skipped, the refill you’d have forgotten — so care doesn’t stop the moment you leave the hospital.
“We treat every line of code like that trust has to be earned again each day, not assumed.”

This page is being written. In the meantime, the three things Better does are live — start with patient loyalty or patient acquisition.
Patients don’t leave you. They just stop showing up. Better gives them a reason to come back.
Every inquiry becomes an appointment, including the ones at 2am — booked while your front desk sleeps.
Hospitals typically lose 10 to 30% of potential revenue to patients who fall through the cracks.
Staff record what a patient needs to do next, whenever that decision is made.
Each need becomes a task owned by the department responsible for it.
Reminders and follow-ups keep tasks moving on their own, so closure doesn’t depend on anyone remembering.
Acquisition and loyalty grow the top of your funnel. This one recovers money you have already earned — patients already through your doors, procedures already advised, tests already prescribed.
Two weeks, your data, your numbers. We’ll show you exactly what was advised, what closed and what walked out of the door, broken down by department.
